Setup your merchant account with Integrate Payments First.
Big Commerce Setup

Settings: Payments: More Payment Methods: Check 'NMI': click Save.

A new tab will appear next to 'General Settings' labeled 'NMI'.

Enter the Display Name (ex: Credit Card)
Enter the Gateway Username
Enter the Gateway Password
Select the Transaction Type
Authorize & Capture OR
Authorize Only
Select Card Requirement Preference -- Choose Yes
Select Duplicate Window -- Set to 0.5 hours or higher. Setting this to 0.00 will allow Duplicate Transactions to get through.
Click 'Save'
